This is perhaps the most popular and preferred method for man new investors. Find someone or several people you trust who have similar investment goals as you.  Pool your money together and invest it accordingly.     

Find a mentor. Connect with someone who is currently doing what you want to do and develop a relationship.  Buy them a lunch and ask questions.   Keep in contact with that person and share with them your goals and be willing to be held accountable to them.
